CAN I AFFORD A SHORT SALE? Most short sale transactions are done on a flat fee basis and there is usually no charge to the client unless the transaction proceeds through closing.  Also, there are very little, if any, out-of-pocket expenses paid by the client.  In most situations, my fee is paid out of the proceeds of the transaction.
